Facts that may save your mortgage & credit...

It's not an embarrasement to say that you may have a mortgage that is "underwater".  This simply means your timing could have been better.  Some of us have purchased properties at the top of the market in 2006 and 2007.  If you bought in states like Florida or Nevada at that time, it's almost a given that you owe more than your property is worth.  This link may help you and may answer questions about refinancing.  The HARP Program is available to  many homeowners, so check it out.

Cody ranks as No. 9 best town under 35K | Wyoming Business Report

For those of us that live here, we know the beauty of our area.  Cody has so much more to offer than most  small towns, alot of that has to do with the people that live here.  Although Cody is a fair distance from our family, my daughter and I would not want to live anywhere else.  Vacation, yes.  During the winter months it's great to take a break at the beach but our hearts are in Cody for the long-term.

Enjoy Life More

Ok, so for those of you that know me, and those that don't, I have had some major challenges during the last 24 months.

Challenges can often lead to depressing and negative thoughts which is definitely NOT who I am.  I decided to do something about this so I picked up a book in the airport called "The Happiness Project".

If you haven't read this book I would highly recommend it.  You don't need to be depressed to appreciate it, you just have to want to improve the existing quality of each and every day.

I personally love Grechen's 12 Commandments and in particular, #3.  This is simple and very good advice, simple being the operative word.  Gretchen's Commandments are listed below.

I'd love to know what you think.

Here are her Twelve Commandments:
1. Be Gretchen.
2. Let it go.
3. Act the way I want to feel.
4. Do it now.
5. Be polite and be fair.
6. Enjoy the process.
7. Spend out.
8. Identify the problem.
9. Lighten up.
10. Do what ought to be done.
11. No calculation.
12. There is only love

Seeing this video just brought a smile to me face.

Cody Cuisine

As a self-proclaimed food critic I thought I'd post an honorable mention for Adriano's. Italian food is a staple in our home. We prepare most meals from scratch including pizza. Due to unforeseen circumstances (and those of you that know us know what we mean) we are eating out more. We ordered a pizza at Adriano's last night and it was the best pizza we've had in Cody. So good in fact, that we're headed back tonight to try the veal. Hope it's as good as the pizza was.
