HGTV

I'm an HGTV watcher. For those who don't know about HGTV, it's a cable channel where homeowners can learn home improvement tips, how to stage a home and inexpensive "fixes" to make your home more saleable.

Recently, HGTV had a program that educated a home seller on the top 7 things they can do to make their homes look better than their competition. If you'd like a copy just send me an e-mail and I'll get it to you. thedonleyteam@realestatecody.com.

SAVE THE ENVIRONMENT OR SAVE MONEY

I read an interesting article today at Gallup News. According to the article 71% of Americans have taken steps in 2009 to make their homes more energy efficient. That in and of itself isn't really surprising, what I found interesting is they didn't do it to save the environment. They did it to save money. So what I want to know is did Codyites spend time and money improving their homes energy efficiency during 2009? If you did what was your motivation? If you would like to read more of the Gallup story you can find it at http://www.gallup.com/poll/124619/Savings-Trumps-Environment-Making-Homes-Greener.
